My brother is telling his story and I am so proud of him. Of course, there is plenty of brother-sister banter/memories to wade through, but then we talk about his very real struggle with bipolar mania. He tells in vivid detail what it was like to have his first psychotic break just 10 days after completing his basic military training for the Air Force. It took a whole year and a half of more episodes before finding the right diagnosis and treatment. Taylor hopes his story will encourage anyone who is in their first weeks or months of learning about their own diagnosis.
